Base44 is an AI-powered no-code/app-building platform from the Israeli company Base44 (founded in 2024 by Maor Shlomo, acquired by Wix in June 2025), allowing users to create full-stack web apps—including frontend, backend, database, and authentication—via natural-language prompts ("vibe coding"). The platform automatically generates data models, user management, hosting, and API integrations without requiring coding skills. Base44 uses a credit-based subscription model with separate message and integration credits, and since November 2025 also offers autonomous "Superagents" that run tasks continuously in the background. Base44 has recently launched its own proprietary AI model called "Base1" in addition to externally integrated models like Claude and Gemini.
