Gemini Live is a voice conversation feature within Google's Gemini app that lets users have a natural, interruptible back-and-forth voice chat with the AI instead of typing prompts. It launched in August 2024 alongside the Pixel 9 devices and has since been expanded with camera/screen sharing, multimodal capabilities (text, image, video, audio), and integrations with Google apps such as Calendar, Maps, Tasks, Keep, Workspace, and YouTube. Gemini Live is included in both free and paid Gemini app subscriptions (Google AI Plus/Pro/Ultra) and is available on mobile devices in more than 45 languages and over 150 countries.
