June is a privacy-oriented AI desktop agent by Open Software that runs locally on Mac. The product combines an agent (based on the Open Source framework Hermes), voice dictation for any app, automated meeting notes, and chat in a single workspace. Files, sessions, memory, and state remain local on the device by default, with model routing performed zero-retention via anonymized or private Frontier models or local models. The code is Open Source under MIT license, currently available for macOS and free to use (100% free with local Inference).
