Seedance 2.5 is a multimodal text-to-video model by ByteDance Seed, announced on June 23, 2026 at the Volcano Engine FORCE Conference and officially released on July 31, 2026. Its core feature is native one-step generation of video clips up to 30 seconds long, including synchronized audio, compared to approximately 15 seconds for Seedance 2.0. The model accepts up to 50 multimodal references (images, videos, audio) and supports region-based post-processing as well as multiple clip extensions. At the time of research, ByteDance had not yet published an official, unified price list or a definitively confirmed maximum resolution; specifications for resolution vary by platform between 720p, 1080p, and 4K.
