Perplexity Personal Computer is an AI agent system from Perplexity AI that brings the multi-model orchestration of "Perplexity Computer" locally to a Mac (and, since June 2026, Windows). It can autonomously access local files, native apps, 400+ connectors, and the web to carry out multi-step tasks, ideally running on an always-on Mac mini. Compute-intensive tasks are still processed on Perplexity's servers, while local file and app access happens directly on the device; sensitive actions require user approval. Originally launched in April 2026 as a Max-exclusive feature, it has been available to Pro and Enterprise subscribers as well since May 2026.
