Kiro Crew is an Open Source agent framework by AWS that expands the interactive coding environment Kiro into a persistent workspace for software development. It orchestrates multiple AI agents across sessions, maintains project context and memories, executes scheduled and event-driven tasks autonomously, and can be operated via desktop app, web dashboard, CLI, and chat tools like Slack, Discord, or Telegram. The orchestration layer is open source under Apache License 2.0, while the underlying proprietary Kiro CLI agent harness continues to run through a paid Kiro account.
