YochaiWiki (Yochai) is an AI-powered "learning companion" for Jewish texts developed by Zohar Atkins and the Lightning Studios team. The product combines a library of over 1,000 primary sources from the Jewish canon with a large knowledge graph (2.5M entities, 16M relationships, 375,000 searchable text passages, 17,000 canonical concepts) and offers LLM-based chat access in Socratic style. The underlying texts are sourced primarily from Sefaria; a portion of the knowledge graph has been released as an Open Source, read-only MCP gateway (yochai-kg) on GitHub. The project was funded by the Maimonides Fund and Infinity Constellation and is accessible via WhatsApp in addition to the web app.
